Local know-how

What we look at for Bathurst and Central West homes

Cold-climate solar

The Central West has cold winters and plenty of clear days. Panels generate from sunlight, not heat, and we size systems for year-round use.

Storing power for the evening

Heating and cooking push up evening use. A battery stores daytime solar for after dark. We look at your bills to recommend a size.

Rural and lifestyle blocks

We work on farms, sheds and rural properties as well as town homes, and plan the job with you so you know when we'll be on site.

FAQ

Bathurst and Central West questions

Do you install in Bathurst and Orange?

Yes. We install in Bathurst, Kelso, Orange, Blayney and the surrounding Central West.

Can I add a battery later?

Yes. We can design your solar so a battery is simple to add down the track, or add a battery to the solar you already have.

Will a battery keep my power on in a blackout?

Some battery systems can provide backup power during an outage, depending on the battery, the inverter and how it's set up. We'll explain the options so you can decide if backup matters to you.

Is there a rebate for home batteries?

The federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program provides battery STCs on eligible batteries connected to solar, worth about $37 each on usable capacity from 5 to 50 kWh (roughly $1,250 to $6,400 off for batteries installed in 2026, depending on size), and we apply eligible discounts directly to your quote.
