Who we are

This website is run by Top Power Electrical Pty Ltd (ACN 605 633 805), which runs the Top Power Electrical business from The Oaks, NSW. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Top Power Electrical Pty Ltd. You can contact us on admin@toppowerelectrical.com.au or 0401 946 125.

What we collect

We collect personal information that you give us, and some that is collected automatically when you use our website.

• Through our quote, referral and contact forms: your name, email address, phone number, address, power bill details (if you share them), what you are interested in, and any comments you write.
• By phone and email: the details you tell us or send us when you contact us or we contact you, and a record of our conversations about your job.
• Through website analytics: information about your visit, such as the pages you view and your device and browser. See "Website analytics and cookies" below.

Why we collect it

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
• To plan and install your solar, battery, EV charger or electrical work.
• To provide support, service and warranty help after the job.
• To follow up with you about your quote or job.
• To ask for a review or feedback about our work.
• To run and improve our website and our business, and to meet our legal obligations.

Website analytics and cookies

When you visit toppower.com.au we use cookies and similar technologies to understand how our website is used and to follow up on enquiries. We use Google Analytics to measure visits and which pages are popular, Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure how our advertising performs, and HubSpot to record which pages of our website you view. If you have given us your details (for example through a quote form) or clicked a link in an email from us, HubSpot may link your website visits to your contact record so we can respond to you sooner and more helpfully. These tools may collect your IP address, device and browser information, the pages you visit and how you arrived on our site, and they may share that information with those providers, some of whom store it outside Australia. We use this information only to run and improve our business and to contact you about our services; we do not sell it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use your browser's privacy controls or a tool such as Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. If you would like to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you, email admin@toppowerelectrical.com.au.

Who we share it with

We only share personal information as needed to do our work and run our business. This can include:

• installers and electricians who work on your job;
• suppliers and distributors, to order and deliver your equipment and arrange warranties;
• government and rebate bodies and their agents, for rebate, STC (small-scale technology certificate), network and other government paperwork;
• payment and finance providers, if you pay or finance through them;
• IT, email, phone and software service providers who help us run our systems, including Google, Meta and HubSpot as described above; and
• anyone else you ask us to share it with, or where the law requires it.

We do not sell personal information.

Some of these providers are based or store data outside Australia, for example in the United States. By giving us your information you understand it may be handled by them.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for your job, warranty and legal requirements. After that we take reasonable steps to delete it or remove anything that identifies you.

Access, correction, deletion and opting out

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and you can ask us to stop sending you marketing at any time. Email admin@toppowerelectrical.com.au and we will deal with your request. We may need to confirm who you are first, and we may have to keep some records where the law requires it.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we limit access to the people who need it to do their work. No system is completely secure, so please tell us straight away if you think your information has been misused.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first at admin@toppowerelectrical.com.au and we will try to fix it. If you are not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
